How to define an object? By the actual continuous mass or the “empty” surfaces and voids created when a volume is reduced? In physics, void is an expression of an actual space that contains no matter at all. This is in contrast to the philosophy where emptiness is often described as, for nature, an unnatural state that cannot exist - How can nothing be nothing?

A work to create voids by dividing, removing pieces and hollowing out objects. This way a solid form is transformed from something static to something alive and ever changing. By reducing one kind of volume – another is created.
